It was Saturday morning, the time they set aside to clean their apartment. Didi was in their bedroom, tidying up, while Tino was in the living room, doing the same. This week, Tino would clean the kitchen, while Didi did the bathroom. They had a system and it worked.
To help make cleaning more fun, Tino took his iPod, put it in a do it yourself armband made from an old sweat sock, and turned it to shuffle. He danced to the music as he vacuumed, singing bits of songs, while he straighten up the living room. Switching the vacuum cleaner off, Tino went and got the feather duster from Didi. He sang and dusted, occasionally swiveling hips to the beat.
Tino squealed with delight when one of his favorite songs came on. It was an old cover tune from a CD that Bernd had made him of various songs to help get Didi in the mood when Tino finally decided to seduce him. While it was supposed to have been a joke, it actually did the trick… well, that and a beer or two to loosen him up. This particular song was Tino’s favorite because it was the song where, after coming up for air, Didi asked him if he could touch him there and the rest as they say was history. So whenever he heard it, Tino could not help singing along.
Using the feather duster as makeshift mic, Tino belted out the song as Joan Jett sang along in his ear. He got really loud when he reached the chorus. “DO YA WANNA TOUCH? YEAH! DO YOU WANNA TOUCH? YEAH! DO YOU WANNA TOUCH ME THERE, WHERE? DO YOU WANNA TOUCH? YEAH! DO YOU WANNA TOUCH? YEAH! DO YOU WANNA TOUCH ME THERE, WHERE? THERE, YEAH!!” Tino danced around the living room, swaying and bopping to music like a demented Mick Jagger.
Didi grabbed a pillow off the bed. He turned it so the pillowcase opening was pointing at the mattress and shook it free. He was reaching for another one, when Tino’s voice carried into the bedroom. Didi hummed along as memories of his then boyfriend Tino dancing seductively filled his head. He left the bedroom and headed into the living room. He stood there, watching his husband dance around.
“Yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah… Every girl an’ boy… Needs a little joy… All you do is sit an’ stare…” Tino spun around and paused when he saw Didi standing there. He smiled and not missing a beat, he continued singing a few lines later, “My, my, my… Whiskey and rye… Don’t it make you feel so fine…?” Tino danced over to Didi. “Right or wrong… Don’t it turn you on…?” He put his arms around his husband’s neck, grinding his hips against Didi’s.
“Yeah…” Didi breathed.
“Can’t you see we’re wastin’ time, yeah…”
“Yeah…” Didi’s voice went low and husky.
“Do you wanna to touch? Yeah… Do you wanna touch? Yeah… Do you wanna touch me there, whe-” The rest of the song, he was singing, was swallowed up in Didi’s kiss.
Breaking the kiss, Didi said, “You wanna, you know…” He felt his cheeks heating up at the smile that lit up his beloved’s face. “Before I take the sheets off the bed…”
Tino’s smile turned impish. He caressed Didi’s cheek. “Of course I wanna touch you there…” He trailed his hand down his husband’s broad chest. “And there…” He went lower. “And there…” Tino palmed the bulge in Didi’s pants. He let out a loud squeak when Didi picked him up. He clung to him as his husband carried him into the bedroom. When the next song, “Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me” from the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack, began to play, Tino had a feeling they were done cleaning the apartment for the moment, not that he cared.
