Bernd stepped out of the shower and dried off. He walked over to where he had left his clothes, pausing when he caught sight of himself in the mirror. He took the towel and dried his hair. Bernd stared at the damp, pink clumps of hair that stuck out at odd angles from his head and fluffed his hair up with his hand.
The pretty boy in the mirror, who stared back at him, seemed even more ethereal than his former tow-headed reflection. Bernd frowned. Maybe the pink was not such a good idea, but James seemed really keen on it. James’ twin Amber, however, was not as into the idea as her brother. Despite her misgivings, she still went along with it and dyed his hair a pretty pastel pink. And yet, what was done, was done and there was no going back now.
Bernd shrugged and quickly got dressed. He tossed the towel in the hamper. On the way out of the bathroom, he caught sight of himself in the mirror again. Bernd smiled at his reflection. He did look pretty with pink hair and he was going to own it, and if someone hated it, then too bad. Feeling better about the whole thing, he left the bathroom.
